Corporate Social Responsibility

At ITC Global, we know the way we do business impacts the environment, our clients, our partners, our employees, and our communities. True to our values of keeping it simple and showing respect, we’re focused on common sense corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives with measurable impacts. We’re currently developing an environmental, social and governance (ESG) framework to quantify our commitments.

Our commitment to caring for the environment

We’re committed to managing our impact on the environment in a responsible way, which is why we follow strict standards to mitigate the environmental effects of our operations.

EcoVadis sustainability rating

The EcoVadis rating agency evaluates our CSR performance each year. The agency assesses a range of sustainability issues grouped into four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

At the March 2024 review, we scored 59/100 overall and earned a silver medal. With our new result, we are now ranked in the top 35% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis.

Our commitment to showing solidarity

We share resources and expertise with organizations and initiatives whose missions align with our values, especially those that support women and children.

Financial Support

Each year, clients who fill out our satisfaction survey can choose from among three nonprofits to whom we donate $5 for each completed survey. Below are the organizations we’ve supported through this initiative.

2024 Donations

Action Education supports high-quality education and education access for everyone, especially vulnerable groups like children, girls, women and minorities.
Marion la Main Tendue prevents and fights violence and bullying in schools and online.
Rafa International provides aftercare for survivors of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and abuse and family preservation programs in vulnerable communities.
Entrepreneurs du Monde empowers people in extremely precarious situations to improve their living conditions through entrepreneurship.

Previous Donations

Care and Life supports communities in Burkina Faso and Cape Verde by building a community health center and providing healthcare to children with multiple handicaps.
The Gabriel association provides humanitarian aid for young children and supports orphanages in Vietnam, India, and France.
Reforest’Action acts locally to deal with global warming and biodiversity erosion through ecosystem regeneration projects that create value in multiple ways.
Stef Cares helps reduce the number of accidents caused by mobile phone use behind the wheel, especially texting.
Toutes à l’école offers a high level of schooling to the poorest Cambodian girls as part of a comprehensive program that includes education, nutrition, and medical care.
WCK provides meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises.

In-Kind Professional Services

ITC Global also shows solidarity by providing no-cost professional translation services to nonprofits and other organizations.

Women’s Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation fights for women’s hearts through initiatives that alert, anticipate, and act on cardiovascular diseases. We translate their website and other marketing and educational materials.
Entrepreneurs du Monde empowers people in extremely precarious situations to improve their living conditions through entrepreneurship. We translate their annual report.
Art for Science supports neuroscientific research through initiatives that reveal how the brain works and the effect of different activities on the brain. We translate their e-commerce app.

Employee Volunteer Support

ITC Global gives each employee three paid days off per year to volunteer with a nonprofit organization of their choice.

On our 2024 external translator survey, 96% of respondents said they would recommend ITC to their peers and other language professionals.
